PinUp

Hace unos meses llego a mis manos una fotografía de retrato de una pinup y me inspiro para llevar a cabo esta ilustración con toque vintage.

Quería hacer algo grande y combinar figura y fondo, un reto para mi ya que no se me dan demasiado bien los fondos, especialmente cuando hay coches y edificios. Después de miles de referencias de chicas en moto y fotografías y maquetas 3D de restaurantes típicos americanos de los 50´s y 60´s y motocicletas ha salido esto. Como siempre acabé haciendo demasiados detalles, hasta diseñé un tatuaje donde se leía la frase "live fast, die Young" y que aquí apenas se aprecia.

A few months ago I saw a photograph of portrait of a pinup and it inspired me to draw this illustration vintage.

I wanted to make a big thing and draw figure and ground in only drawing, it was a challenge for me because I don´very well in this illustrations, especially when there are cars and buildings. I used many references to girls with motorcycle and 3D models of American typical restaurants of the 50's and 60's.To the end i did too many details, until I designed a tattoo that read the phrase "live fast, die young" although here is barely noticeable.
